Device Discovery Support Additions in Remote Collector v.18.10.01

Release Overview

The Remote Collector (RC) v18.10.01 release provides device discovery improvement and several bug fixes. The most recent Main Appliance (MA) version was v18.10.00, released September 7, 2023.

New Device Discovery Support

The Device42 v18.10.01 RC includes new SNMP discovery support for the following device

• Dell Switches – Support for Dell switch models DELL S5224F-ON, DELL N3224PX-ON and DELL N3248P-ON.  Discovery of these switches includes name, vendor, model, OS and serial number

Bug Fixes

• In Room view screen, Panduit PDU does not show power heat map in bars
• Large Discovery Hub Jobs Stalling
• With Cisco switch discovery, management port information was incorrect
• With Cumulus discovery, connections between devices are not shown
• When discovering a router, not all subnets are shown
