Release Overview

The Remote Collector (RC) v18.08.01 release provides device discovery improvement and several bug fixes. The most recent Main Appliance (MA) version was v18.08.00, released June 14, 2023.

New Device Discovery Support

The Device42 v18.08.01 RC includes new SNMP discovery support for the following device:

  • Samsung LFD – discovery of this device includes hardware model, OS name, OS version, serial number and IP address.  
  • Fiberstore FS1600 and FS5500 – discovery of these switches includes hardware model, OS Name, OS version and ports.
