Automatic creation of "Custom Fields" and missing option to disable them

Hello Device42,

we recognized, that the Cloud Discovery creates "Custom Fields" for "Devices" in Device42 based on the Tags on Azure Ressources.

As by now, there are several types of devices (e.g. Phones, PCs, Servers, Cloud, etc.) with different demands of information.

What the tool does, is to add all the discovered Custom Fields to all kind of devices (e.g. having all the Custom Fields for Azure Subscription Tags on my Mobile Phones).

There is no way for me to decide, which kind of Custom Fields will be shown on which kind of Device. There is also no way to order or categorize the Custom Fields or even disable the "auto-creation".
This now ended up in like every discovered Phone which usually needs ~10 Custom Fields now having +40 additional and empty Custom Fields from other discovery sources. This is really confusing and frustrating!

Please implement capabilities to have a better handling of Custom Fields. I would expect atleast

• being able to disable the automatic creation of Custom Fields during discovery jobs (especially for Cloud)
• better seperation between types of Devices (e.g. Phones,Clients, Server, etc.) in genereal (the Resource View also only shows "All Devices")
  and the option to decide which type of "Custom Field" is relevant for what type of Device. (Hiding all non-relevant Fields)
• The option to order and or group custom fields, so its easier to manage them (like hiding all "Azure relevant information - Group") and more intuitive for the User to get the information he needs, if you have many Custom Fields.
