PDU Asset information

Most rPDUs are network enabled.

It would be nice if there was a way to add the network interface to a PDU, as well as asset information.

I see there is a way to link a device for Asset/Network information, but the query window is always blank, and when I attempt to create a device to map for Asset/Network information, it is invalid.

  Hi Jason,

  PDUs in D42 support both dummy and network enabled PDUs. However, for network enabled PDUs you will map it to a device as you mentioned to assign asset info and network info. Can you please share what error you see while trying to do this?

  Realized the issue.

  I didn't understand clearly on the PDU detail page where you link a device that the device had to be created as type "other" to be linked to a PDU for MAC address/asset info.
