API /api/1.0/switchports needs a filter
CompletedAPI /api/1.0/switchports needs a filter at least by device_id
I can obtain the device_id by other API calls, so it seems natural to me to get the list of ports by specifying that id. Otherwise the port list can be huge and D42 takes obviously a lot of time to reply to a /api/1.0/switchports call.
IMHO rarely one has the need to get ALL the switch ports on D42... often is needed only the list of ports of a single device.
Generally speaking I think you should consider adding "rich filters" to any API call so we can use D42 as a real damn useful Database for our external applications :)
