Ability to remove OS, Software, & Services in LifeCycle Events

A device had an OS attached to it.

Now it is decommissioned and goes to storage, so no OS is attached to it.

When I try to remove the OS, it says "This field is required."

Can we please add the ability when creating Events for an Asset LifeCycle that you can remove software, services, OS information, and Application Components related to that device?
