Deleting a Service and Service Details via API

It appears that both /api/1.0/services/ and /api/1.0/service_details/ do not accept the DELETE method. Is there any parameter (like clear_all) that would allow for deletion of a service from the API?

We are running version 7.0.2.1432225830

  This is planned to be released in next release (v7.2.0, which is in QA currently).
