Easier merge functionality for devices

Would like extended filtering when searching for devices.

 

what’s the best way to merge two hosts that are difficult to search together?

For example, I have a host that has been racked/labeled as “api50.copy.sfj” but was deployed and auto-discovered as “web11.bbs.sfj.cudaops.com”. These hosts are difficult to find together in the same list (searching for “sfj” has 800+ results); is there a better way to do an “or” search or perform a merge from within a device?

  +1 for this feature.  Would like to have a "Merge with device..."  button from each device page.

  Hi guys, this is an open request right now and this would be a much bigger change internally.  It would be a little awhile before we look at this.  Thank you for your feedback on this though.
