hello, 
with all different autodiscovery we ge lots of Operating system created. 
is it possible to merge some ? 
here is the list of windows OS creted by autodiscovery in our device42

  Being able to add aliases and merge just like with is available with hardware models is a necessary feature to keep OS versions clean and usable.

  Aside from Operating systems, I think this would be a very helpful feature (aliases & merging) for any place that tracks models -- Part Models, for example. Without this ability, lists can very messy and difficult to look through.

  Merge for Operating systems (and aliases) has been added in v10.1.0: http://blog.device42.com/2016/06/automated-certificate-management-and-enhanced-spare-parts-module-in-v10-1-0/
