Visualisation of network cable going directly between switch and server crossing racks

We have an interesting setup, where one of our servers is connected directly to a switch in a different rack - device42 doesn't show any kind of visualization for that, even doesn't show the connection when I hover over the server. Did I make a mistake inputting stuff, or is it just unexpected setup?
