Support for Palo Alto devices in SNMP autodiscovery
CompletedHi,
We have few Palo Alto Networks appliances in our datacenters, and we would like to keep track of them with SNMP autodiscovery just like we do with Cisco and other switches. Unfortunately, there's not much gathered by current autodiscovery code from the devices. There are MIBs downloadable from vendor's
site, and we can also provide results of snmpwalk on the device.
We are otherwise very happy with device42 - good job :)
Yours Sincerely,
Pawel

Hi Pawel,
Thanks! Regarding Palo Alto - absolutely, happy to add that to our supported devices. Can you please send us a snmp walk from one of the Palo Alto devices to support at device42.com.
Please follow this doc to generate the walk: http://docs.device42.com/device42-appliance-manager/collecting-snmpwalk-output-for-troubleshooting/
Thanks & Regards,
Raj

Hi,
We added support for Palo Alto firewall in v6.7.1, but hardware model is not coming out correct. We are in process of fixing that and fix should be out in next release.
Thanks,
Raj
