AD/LDAP Sync to customer table
Hello.
In AD/LDAP sync in the auto discovery option you can select type "end user" or "administrator". Could you add the option "customer" and sync this straight into the customer table. We see all our company end users as possible customers of devices.
During this sync identical options could be used as for end users, only difference is that the Location and Notes attributes end up as customer tags.
Or add a separate option to be able to connect End users to devices and not only Customers.

Hi Magnus,
Adding customer as an option for AD sync is on our list.
However, you can check out devices or assets to end uses using lifecycle events. There is an event called checked out, where you can assign a device to a user. This also enforces a check-out event before the device can be checked out to another end user.
Please let us know if that helps.
Thanks & Regards,
Raj

Great, we’ll look into the checked out option. In the AD sync, it would be nice to have an option to filter out a list of userlogins and also disabled accounts as a choice in the sync job.

This would be a nice option for our use case as well.
