Improved Subnet Display
CompletedWe manage several large allocations that are then split up in to lots of smaller networks.
It would be extremely helpful to be able to see these in a nested view without having to change the view to root networks or open each root network to see the child networks.
I've attached an example.

We have added subnet tree as an experimental feature since v320. Menu was hidden and we have made the menu available in v323.
This feature is very limited in usability for now, as it just gives you a expandable tree like view of your subnets and IP ranges. Please share your ideas on how we can improve this.0 -
Hi Raj,
Thanks for getting back to me.
It would be nice if the subnet names were listed as well as the names of any devices currently assigned to IP addresses.
An expand all button would also be useful.
Thanks,
Damien

Damien,
we have added subnet name and device name in the tree view in v324. You can also right click and open a new tab to get to the view page for subnet or IP address.

When I click Subnet Tree, my smaller networks are not being summarized via the /16. For example I have a /16 per site and underneath that site, I have 40 vlans/subnets. When I go to Subnet Tree, I see the Root that I created and the imported /24s. I've attached a screen shot, any ideas?

JB,
You can use subnet relocate feature to move the /24s into /16. Here are more details regarding this: http://docs.device42.com/ipam/subnet/

JB,
We have just added an entry under the common question on how to do this in bulk: https://device42.zendesk.com/entries/25006543

Raj.
