Reporting on Linked Incidents
I recently posted this as a support question, and learned that my desired functionality is not available at this time...
We are using the older direct integration with Jira Service Management, so I can see on any device page in Device42 a list of all incidents where this device was selected as a linked asset in a Jira issue.
I want to leverage this to generate a report that shows all non-EUC devices that have more than 3 linked incidents in the past 6 months. I know how to accomplish the first filter, but I am stymied by how to pull the incident data.
Support responded saying that the linked incident data is populated in the UI dynamically via an API call and is thus not available to me for reporting.
Alas, the integration with Jira appears to work similarly on that end, so I am unable to generate this reporting from Jira either.
I'm posting this here hoping it sparks some conversation...maybe to a viable workaround, or maybe to raise awareness with the product team that I'm not alone in wanting to leverage this type of information.
