We are excited to announce the general availability of Device42 v15.19.03 with the following changes:
Queue processing improvements
- This release includes some subtle changes to our queue processing algorithms which speed up processing performance. The changes ensure that all queue processes are evenly processing work, best utilizing the resources available to the appliance.
- In addition, the import logic that handles SNMP port and subnet data processing has been optimized to greatly decrease the import time.
Updated appliance web server configuration
- This release includes updated web server configurations for both the main Device42 web application and the D42 Appliance Manager. The Appliance Manager is now also hosted by nginx (same as the main D42 web application), and both now run as system services instead of being managed by the supervisord. These changes allow the supervisord process, which controls tasks and queue processing, to be restarted when necessary without affecting the Device42 web site or the Appliance Manager.
Bug fixes
- Netflow processing could crash on receipt of incomplete netflow data. Fixed.
