Release Overview

The Remote Collector (RC) v18.06.01 release provides improved and new SNMP device discovery support. The most recent Main Appliance (MA) version was v18.06.00, released March 21, 2023.

Improved Device Discovery Support

The Device42 v18.06.01 RC includes improved SNMP discovery support for the following device:

• Radware Linkproof – discovery of these devices now includes hardware model, OS data, serial number, and ports with MAC connections.

New Device Discovery Support

The Device42 v18.06.01 RC includes new SNMP discovery support for the following device:

• ADTRAN NetVanta – discovery of these switch devices includes hardware model, OS data, serial number, and ports with MAC connections.

Bug Fixes

• Previously successful discovery or ESXi hypervisors failed with discovery exceptions.
• Discovery of PDU devices was sometimes not returning environmental sensor data correctly.
